If the member’s being paid, you’d increase the amount they are paid, if they’re in none paid then the line would need to be split if the KIT/SPLIT was being paid at the normal salary rate. There’s an example in the guidance notes of the MCR user guide, scenario 26.

Answer:
The service is only pensionable if paid at the normal rate. If the service was paid at a nominal fee, then it doesn’t need to be recorded as it’s not pensionable. The line of data would need to be filled as all days excluded.
