To ensure that a member’s service as well as their contributions is updated correctly, a new ‘Stop’ error has been introduced when you submit your monthly data.

When you populate the Pensionable Overtime Field (column AH on the template or column AG in the .csv file), you also need to populate the field for Overtime (column AB on the template or column AA in the .csv file).

If the Overtime field isn’t populated when you submit the file, this will cause a ‘Stop’ error and your whole file will be rejected and none of your employees’ details will be updated.

You’ll then need to make the corrections and re-submit a new file to us.

We’re also currently updating the MCR template to make this process even simpler as it will generate the ‘Stop’ error validation prior to you sending the file to us. We’ll let you know when this has been released.
