End of Year Certificate timetable

We recently emailed your establishment outlining the upcoming dates for this year’s End of Year Certificate (EOYC) process.

We’d like to make you aware of the key dates you’ll need to take note of, starting in April with an email containing your contribution cash figure.

Key dates Activity
w/c 26 April 2021 The contribution cash figure will be emailed to your EOYC contact. The additional listings will also be available to view in the Employer Portal.
Friday 28 May 2021 Unaudited EOYC to be returned to Teachers’ Pensions
Thursday 30 September 2021 (Non LA only) Tuesday 30 November 2021 (LA only) Audited EOYC to be returned to Teachers’ Pensions

Your fully completed EOYC submission is an important requirement for the administration of the Scheme, and your Monthly Data Collection (MDC) submission is not a substitute for this process. If you’ve on-boarded to MCR, you need to continue completing your EOYC with information from your payroll reports.

Late submissions have an impact on the quality of the information that members receive about their pension, so please make a note of the dates that apply to your establishment.

Before you begin, check that the contact details we have for your establishment are correct. You can do this by completing the online Contact Details form, which you’ll find on the Employer Portal.
