Outstanding ASR submission

Despite the 6 July deadline for Annual Service Return having now passed and numerous reminders being sent, we still have some employers who have not submitted the service history for their employees. 398 of 8,762 employers have not provided a return, which means we don’t have up to date service history for nearly 98,450 employees. It’s extremely important that this is returned to us as soon as possible.

If you’ve not completed your service submission or contacted us regarding the delay, the following actions will be taken by us:-

  • All affected members will be informed that their data has not been submitted by their employer, including an explanation of the consequences of this data not being provided.
  • We’ll commence engagement with employee representative groups (unions) to escalate the issue on behalf of their members.
  • We’ll commence the process to report non-compliant employers to The Pensions Regulator.
    It’s important to ensure that only individuals who are employed by a participating employer are included on the Annual Return.
